Hybrid Conference – Online Hate, Harm and Victimisation: Emerging Challenges for Research and Practice

A British Society of Criminology hybrid conference presented jointly by the BSC Hate Crime & Victims Networks

In a world where information, misinformation and disinformation can be created and shared speedily through online platforms, including social media, so to can abuse, hostility and violence be similarly shared.

A one-day hybrid conference organised by the BSC Hate Crime Network and BSC Victims Network, hosted by Northumbria University. The aim of this conference is to examine the perpetration and impacts of online hate and hostility. The conference aims to inform academics, students,  policy makers, practitioners, professionals and interested others. The conference is free to attend, ether online or in-person in Newcastle.
