Addressing Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Higher Education and Building Transnational Solidarities:  Perspectives from South Africa, Nigeria, Brazil and Argentina

In the opening keynote, academic-activists from each of the FemIDEAS project’s fieldwork locations—South Africa, Nigeria, Brazil, and Argentina—will collectively reflect on past and ongoing efforts to address and prevent sexual and gender-based violence in higher education within their respective contexts. Together, they will explore possible ways forward and imagine new forms of transnational collaboration, solidarity-building and resource-sharing. The country reports from the FemIDEAS project will also be formally launched during this session.

This conference is free to attend for all presenters and attendees. There are no registration fees.
