Active Life Club: An Evening at 7-8-6 The Coconut Curry

Thursday 15 October 2015, 17:30-20:00pm, Glasgow

Active Life Club in partnership hosts an event to raise awareness on hate crimes which will offer you an opportunity to meet with relevant agencies to learn about hate crime reporting and receiving support.

You will also experience the stories of individuals and an exclusive comedy
performance by Omar Raza, which will highlight the prejudices and stereotypes which exist in today’s society.

Active Life Club presents:

An Evening at 7-8-6 The Coconut Curry

SYNOPSIS: Hungry? In the mood for an
English? An Indian? A deep-fried Mars Bar? Or maybe even…a Muslim? Then have them all!

Come along to 7-8-6 The Coconut Curry and indulge in a diverse 8-character course meal that each has its own unique and distinct outlook on such a spicy
cuisine. The play provides an insight into how the word “Muslim” sits in the
modern world: thus serving comedy, tragedy and most importantly, reality.

This event takes place at The Adelphi Conference Centre, 12 Commercial Road, Glasgow G5 0PQ
