Hate Crime Information Stall

Tuesday 25 February 2020, 11:00-16:00 GMT, London, UK

17-24-30 National Hate Crime Awareness Week is an anti-hate crime charity that organised the April Acts of Remembrance to mark the anniversaries of the London Nail Bomb attacks on Brixton, Brick Lane and Soho hence the first part of our name.

We organise National Hate Crime Awareness Week in October hence the second part of our name, and we run an annual H.O.P.E. Campaign – to raise hate crime awareness, to improve operational responses to hate crime, to prevent hate crime and empower communities affected by hate crime.

On Tuesday 25th February we are organising our first Hate Crime Information Stall/outreach event at the New Cross Learning Centre in New Cross Gate, Lewisham.

Our volunteers will be on-site between 11:00 to 16:00 to hand out information about hate crime services and organisations. We want to talk to people about hate crime.

We want to share our latest freedom of information research results 2019 during which 275 out of 415 council around the UK said they were taking part in National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2019.

It is also an opportunity to come and meet our team and find out more about what we are doing to tackle hate crime in 2020.
