Lecture – What is Hate Crime?

Tuesday 10 March 2020, 10:00-11:30 GMT, Wisbech, UK

The Action Against Hate coordinator at Cambridgeshire Police works to educate police officers, police staff and members of the public on what “Hate Crime” is. The more we know the more we can help stamp it out. As workers on the front line you may come into contact with people who may have been victims or witnesses of hate. In order to try & combat this real issue we need those people to tell us what has happened. In any way they can. Your role would be to signpost them….

This talk is all about what hate actually is, what it means with regards to criminal law, how the police are tackling it, and how you can help with this.
