Virtual Big Learning Event: Hidden Hate

Annual event to learn, raise awareness and effect change on hate crime against Disabled people from the London DDPO Hate Crime Partnership.

Our Big Learning Event 2022 is on the theme of Hidden Hate, focusing on Disabled victims of hate crime.

A different format from previous years, where we invite you to attend with the aims of: Raising Awareness, Learning and What you can do to combat hate crime.

Who is the event for?

This event is open to all, including Disabled people, Deaf & Disabled People Organisations, Commissioners, Police, Funders, Stakeholders and the general public. Our work is mainly London focused, but we welcome attendees from across the UK.

Programme

Our programme includes Dr Louise Hewitt as our guest speaker, updates on the work of the London DDPO HC Partnership, interactive sessions on case studies and impact of data, and a performance by Ignite Theatre.

Access

British Sign Language interperters and live speech to text reporting (captions) will be available throughout the event. Please let us know about any other access requirements at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.
