Stay Safe East (SSE), a Deaf and Disabled People Organisation (DDPO), is running a free 1.5-hour online training session via teams for public and professionals for Hate Crime Awareness Week on Friday 14th October from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.
The training will cover:
- Introduction of Stay Safe East (SSE)
- What is Hate Crime and differentiating between Disability Hate Crime and Hate Crime against disabled people.
- Who can SSE help?
- How SSE can support disabled people of victims of hate crime.
- How to make a referral and contact SSE?
