Virtual Workshop: Hate Crime Awareness Outreach Session – Open4All: Mid & West Wales Region

An interactive and engaging workshop designed to raise awareness of Hate Incidents & Hate Crime to local communities across Wales.

The awareness session will cover the following:

  • To recognise Hate Incidents / Hate Crimes & the Protected Characteristics
  • To understand the importance of reporting a Hate Crime
  • Learn how, where, and to whom you can report a Hate Crime
  • Learn where you can get support if you are a victim, or a witness
  • How to be an active bystander and challenge Hate Incidents and Hate Crimes
  • Discuss and consider real life scenarios and what to do if you witness a Hate Crime

These sessions are designed to encourage participants to express any concerns they may have reporting Hate Incidents and Hate Crimes, personal experiences they would be happy to share, and thoughts around how to increase understanding and reporting in communities. You will have time to ask questions throughout the session and we ask all participants to actively engage with the activities.

This session is specifically for people living in the Swansea / Mid & West Wales Region.
