Virtual Workshop – VCSE Training – Hate Crime Awareness

A free training session for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations operating in York (United Kingdom).

About the workshop:
This workshop will be delivered by North Yorkshire Police and will be particularly useful if your organisation is interested in being a hate crime reporting centre.

This training will be delivered online via Teams. Joining details will be emailed to you before the event.

Training content:
A workshop on Hate Crime awareness delivered by North Yorkshire Police. This session will focus on raising awareness of Hate Crime, enabling individuals to identify such crimes and incidents. The input will include how to support a victim of Hate Crime, different means of reporting and support services available. There will be an opportunity for a Q&A session. The meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams and will last approximately one hour.

Eligibility:
The training is free and open to VCSE sector organisations based and operating in York.
