A Film Screening – Remembrance and Learning for Holocaust Memorial Day 2016

In 1939, Nicholas Winton personally saved the lives if 669 children. Most of them were Jewish – from Czechoslovakia, which was soon to be occupied by the Nazis. He brought them to Britain and kept it secret for nearly 50 years.

The sceening will show ‘The Power of Good’ Featuring Sir Nicholas Winton. The theme for Holocaust Memorial day in 2016 is “don’t stand by”

The event is being hosted by Disability Equality NW who run a disability hate crime third party reporting centre. We encourage people to report any form of prejudice or intolerance.
