CESCA Annual Conference – Making Human Rights Real

This conference will explore the instruments we can use to promote respect for human rights and the means by which we might make these rights real the marginalised and disadvantaged in our communities. Through a series of panel discussions, we will hear perspectives from of expert speakers, practitioners, activists and individuals from within communities across two key human rights issues 1. The Rights of Persons with Disabilities and 2. Tackling Hate Crime and Discrimination. This will be followed by a panel discussion and workshop which will explore the practical application of human rights as an effective tool for social change.
