    Dear Team

I worked as Police staff for 27 years and spent much of that time assisting Police officers in supporting victims of Hate Crime and Domestic Abuse . I am well aware of the issues surrounding non reporting of Domestic Abuse within the gay community and together with my sister ( A published writer)wanted to raise awareness of this subject and its far reaching effects.

We had a success with our first production of Co ercive control within a heterosexual relationship and are now seeking funding for “When the Birds stopped singing” a powerful play which raises awareness of co ercive control within a gay male relationship . The production also provides awareness on Hate Crime. We aim to have appropriate agencies at the performance to offer appropriate support to anybody affected by any of the issues raised in the play. Would you like to know more about our work? Kind Regards. Jane Upson. 07920 804383 Safeword Theatre and Film Production Ltd
