Tuesday 19 April 2016, 10:30-12:30pm, Bradford

Bradford College working with partners will be hosting a hate crime event bringing together key partners and communities including West Yorkshire Police, PCC, Bradford College, Army, Bradford Council and a special guest from the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.  The event will highlight key issues specifically around sub-cultures. The audience will be able to put forward questions and comments to the panel.  The audience will be drawn in from educational establishments, third sector and faith organisations as well as local resident representatives catering for up to 300 places.  It will be used as a platform to educate and facilitate attendees using the Black Roses, the killing of Sophie Lancaster, which documents the teenager’s murder because of her appearance (alternative sub-culture) about the consequences of hate crime.
