Online Conference: Stephen Lawrence Day 2021

To commemorate Stephen Lawrence Day 2021, Kingston Race Equality Council and The National Police Chiefs’ Council host an event to examine the impact that his tragic racist murder, and the Inquiry that followed, had on UK society.

Speakers will consider Stephen’s legacy in terms of the relationship between minority communities and the criminal justice agencies and how well the state now protects communities from racism and other hate crime.
