Join Amdani Juma, Director of the African Institute for Social Development who will be speaking about the Rwandan genocide.

The aim of this event is to:

  • Increase understanding of how intolerance and hate crime can lead to genocide.
  • Increase community understanding of the Rwandan genocide.
  • Raise awareness about how communities have used the devastation caused by the genocide to create an optimistic future.
  • Ensuring that the prosecution service is informed by the experiences of the communities it serves.
