Online Story Sharing Session: Truth and Reconciliation – Silence = Violence

Wednesday 12 May 2021, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm PDT, online (USA)

As the COVID 19 global pandemic has, through false political narrative, directed causative responsibility toward the Asian American Community, hate crimes against individuals of Asian descent have increased. We hold fast and stand together, as a community, through all circumstances. We explicitly recognize this divisiveness as debilitating for those being “targeted” and for our community at large. The El Cerrito Human Relation Commission stands united against hate and holds the rising violence against our Asian American brothers and sisters as intolerable acts against humanity.

In response, the El Cerrito Human Relations Commission will host a series of story sharing sessions opening space to witness, celebrate and better understand the strengths and struggles of our Asian American community

Join our community as we stand united against the rise of Anti-Asian violence and hate.

Love, not hate, makes America GREAT!
