Stand With Me Summit

Monday 29 February 2016, 17:00-20:00pm, Nottingham

Split in two parts, the first part of the Stand With Me Summit will include a series of sessions on hate crime in Nottingham – namely disability, LGBTQ and anti-religious hate crime. The Crown Chief Prosecutor for the East Midlands will be speaking about the legal and criminal aspects of hate crime.

A reception will allow students, local community members and speakers to network and discuss ways to collaborate on already existing schemes to tackle hate crime. There will also be a screening of a short documentary dealing with these three aspects of hate crime and how it affects the local community.

This event is taking place at Great Hall, Trent Building, University of Nottingham, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire NG7 2RD.
