Transport for All? Public transport and hate crime against Disabled people

This training takes place over 2 sessions. Part 1 is on Tuesday 2nd March and Part 2 is on Tuesday 16th March.

You should attend both sessions.

Times for both sessions: 11am to 1pm, with regular breaks. Fully accessible, with BSL interpreters, captioning and palantypist

Who can attend?

This series of online training sessions is aimed at all London Borough DDPOs (staff, volunteers and managers) of any frontline service for Disabled people.

Overview: Two sessions focusing on hate crime against Disabled people when using public transport. Public transport is one of the most common public spaces where hate crime occurs. You will learn about the different ways evidence is gathered to support a case, how to challenge decisions made by other services, the role of transport providers and the British Transport Police.
