Virtual Discussion – How Can Marginalised People Tackle Hate, Racism and Stigma Together?

Wednesday 19 April 2023, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm GMT, online (UK)

Progress in Dialogue has been shocked by recent hate crimes from across the UK, specifically the cases of Brianna Ghey, the young Black girl in Ashford and the lone Traveller man who were brutally beaten. In the case of Brianna Ghey the hate and intolerance showed toward her was tragically fatal.

We want to create this space for Community Champions from different backgrounds to come together as one.

This conversation – led by lived experience – will focus on how our communities can heal divisions, raise awareness of the impact hate has on our communities and importantly work as a collective to explore the actions necessary to stop hate in its tracks.

As with all our #ConversationsForChange gatherings, this will be a safe space for dialogue and respectful sharing. If you would like any digital support or have any questions don’t hesistate to get in touch with our delightful team: enquiry@progressindialogue.org.uk
